Ah yes, my first Minolta film camera. What a fantastic machine. Great auto-focus, nice ergonomics and all the features you probably want. There was an option vertical grip that is nice to have with it as well. I could tell you all about the 700si, but it has already been done. Check the review at the bottom of the page.
Probably the best part of the 700si, is that it is very cheap and often comes with great AF Minolta lenses that will work on your KM or Sony dSLR! Some of my favorite lenses came in 700si packages (opps, let out a secret...)
